I am in the Ho! Ho! Ho! blog hop and my day is August 8.
This is my first hop so I'm looking forward to that.
In honor of the Christmas theme, I'm sharing my very first quilt--a wall hanging on which I appliqued nativity figures, of course (I collect nativities), instead of what the pattern called for.
This was 12 years ago.

I have to include another picture of sweet grandbaby Amelia being held by big sister Harper.
How precious!

I am excited to notice that Fons and Porter put my Circles for Baby Stanton in their Sew and Tell slideshow this week!
Here's the link:

And here's the Beautiful Baby for whom I made the quilt--Amelia, 1 day old in this photo.

I'm working on a quilt called The Fox Around St. Louis.
I bought the kit from the Quilted Fox in Clayton, MO.

Notice the special St. Louis fabric in the quilt.
I think it's going to be beautiful when I get it finished.!

Well, it's been awhile since I've even had anything to share.
Busy times in summer with LOTS of activity and traveling.

I did get several tulip bowls made but gave all away except one.
The placemats above were a set I had made a year or so ago, and they're on my table now.

You can see my last tulip bowl on one of those placemats. They don't even go together!
I also made a mug rug for my brother whose retirement we just celebrated (along with mine), but I forgot to take a photo of it!! The fabric was wine corks for a wine-lover.
I have the grandchildren this week so probably not much sewing either!!
